Special PINK Edition.
Meret about this pattern:
"The Punk Sweater has been on my mind for quite some time, but it was only when I knitted a miniversion for Barbie that it really took off. It goes well, of course, with the Punk Socks "One way or
another" and some new punk elements were added. The Punk Sweater is a round-yoke sweater, but
no back shaping was worked, so you can turn itaround and wear it with the back in the front if you
like."

Techniques Used
Construction
The sweater is knitted from top to bottom, in stranded knitting. The stitch patterns are based on some
easy background patterns combined with graphics. Yoke shaping is formed with 4 to 5 increase rnds
(depending on your size).
After the yoke, the right sleeve will be divided from the body first and the stitches for it are put on hold,
more rows are worked over the body and left sleeve, then the stitches of the left sleeve will also be put
on hold.
The body is knitted first. The body combines an easy, background stitch pattern with graphics, all
worked in stranded knitting, to the desired length and finished with a border in corrigurated ribbing
combined with the sentence “only dead fish go with the flow”.
Finally, the sleeves are knitted. They are worked without decreases. On the leftarm there is a lace
stitch pattern, with the majority in stranded knitting, and it is finished with a cuff in corrigurated ribbing.
The right sleeve combines the background stitch pattern and a graphic with stranded knitting and a
ladder stitch insert, the cuff is in stranded knitting.
The sweater is knitted in a rough style, the strands carried quite wildly on the wrong side of the work,
so they show through the sts on the front
