Construction
The socks are worked from cuff to toe. The additional stitches for the calf are decreased along the leg.
These socks are knitted in a roughly style, the strands carried quite wildly at the wrong side of the work, so they show through the sts on the front side.
For these socks, Meret used the shadow wrap heel technique. This specific technique is not explained in the pattern, so if you are not familiar with it, you can find some youtube videos online. It is also perfectly possible to use your own preferred heel technique.
Both socks begin with a 1x1 ribbing for the cuff, next work the chart as mentioned.
